Currently the Get Smart conference is running in Christchurch and Auckland; a very popular event among young Christians in NZ, and well-known for promoting this gospel of financial success. I pray that we in the West will wake up to our folly and turn to Christ for our security.

Thanks for posting this video. I, too, hate the "so-called" prosperity gospel for how it ruins people, and ruins the true gospel of Jesus. And while that is simple to write, it is very powerfully depicted in the video. Thanks for linking to it.
I too want to thank you for posting this.
I live in Sydney very close to a church that promotes this message strongly. I admired (and was quite surprised by) the strength with which JP spoke out against the doctrine.
As an aside, I stumbled across your site a few months back, and was struck by the similarities - we both share a similar name, and the same belief. I have since been a regular reader of your site, but this is the first time I have commented.
